Established Peace

Hello friends and welcome back to our Peace Series. Today, we continue on in our search for peace in God's word. Let's pick up where we left off in Isaiah:

Lord, you establish peace for us: all that we have accomplished you have done for us.

Isaiah 26:12

All the glory goes to God. All that we have and all that we have done. It's all the outcome of His mercies and His plans for us. He establishes our steps. He established our peace!

The Lord's justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field. The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effects will be quietness and confidence forever.

Isaiah 32:17

The outcome of His peace, which He has established for us (in us), will be quietness and confidence forever. Quietness; we will feel calm because of overwhelming peace. Confidence: we will have complete and utter trust.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

Isaiah 52:7

So, to recap; He has established peace for us so we have confidence forever and now we should then proclaim that peace to others. Let us proclaim the good news! Let us proclaim salvation! Let us shout from the mountain tops, "God reigns!"

Let us praise God for the peace He has ESTABLISHED in us. Established... He has laid it in stone. Even that doesn't seem to sum up how permanent our peace is. It is said and done. It is sealed with a kiss from our heavenly Father. It isn't going anywhere.

Even in the midst of chaos, we have peace. Even when it doesn't seem like it or feel like it. So smile! Shout joyful praise because it is established!
