Expression

Hello friends. Welcome to the last blog of 30 Days of Gratitude. Thanksgiving, the holiday, might be over but thanksgiving, the giving of thanks is never finished. Not even when we die do we stop giving thanks. In heaven we will be singing songs of praises, worship, and thanks to our God forever. I google searched thanksgiving, which I often do for words I already know, and google says that thanksgiving is the expression of gratitude, especially to God. I love that definition. Expression. Let's google search that too because why not: the action of making known one's thoughts or feelings.

Isn't it amazing that God gave us this ability of expression. He made us unique and gave us our own thoughts and feelings and the ability to express them. You might be asking what I'm getting at; what I am thankful for today. Doesn't she normally tell us in the first paragraph? Well, my friends, I am thankful for so much that it cannot all fit in 30 days of blogs. But, I guess today I am thankful that God gave us thoughts and feelings; and because of that we are all unique. God had to have taken time on each and every one of us. We aren't carbon copies. We are unique in appearance, expression, and opinion. Even no two person's fingerprints are identical. God made us in detail. From our feet to the number of hairs on our head. He knows you that well that He knows how many hairs on your head. Isn't that incredible.

I know I am all over the place today. But I am thankful that I can do that. That I can ponder and think. That I can express myself. And I can't help but express thanks to God - thanksgiving. So, express to God what you are thankful for my friends. Capture something that sparks feelings of joy. I will make know my thoughts and feelings and my thoughts and feelings are happy ones today. As long as I have God I will smile, even when it feels like things are falling apart around me.
