God made you to be unique

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the will of God, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."

Romans 12:2

Good morning friends! You know, I was thinking today about how we cherish rare things like diamonds, but I've noticed we don't cherish the rarities inside ourselves. We want to blend in with everyone else. If someone else doesn't think the same as us; We feel like it's strange. We feel like we should hide it. Or if we have a flaw that's not common we should cover it up. We only want to be unique when it's "cool". But God made us all different. He crafted us to show individuality. He could have made us all the same. But He made us unique. Shouldn't we be proud of how God made us; right down to every flaw?

Why do we strive for perfection? God says that we all will fall short; It's human nature. And He still loves us. Shouldn't that be enough? Why not embrace who we are; Who God made us to be? I think we should cherish our rarities like diamonds. This is judgmental world, but the fact of the matter is no one is perfect. And the bible says, "whoever casts judgement onto others, cast judgement onto themselves".

'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the will of God'. Meaning don't try to be like everyone else and let God transform you by changing the way you think. Then you can learn to know God's will for you. And that is the good, acceptable, and perfect. Sound's similar to my post about perspective from the other day. So, don't feel like you have to fit in society's mold. Embrace who you are, flaws and all. But remember that there is only one whom is perfect and we are meant to be his hands and feet on this earth. There's not enough time in a day for us to hide who we are. So I'm smiling in all my imperfection, because God made me and I am loved by the king. Find joy in that today, guys.
