He is not here; He has risen!

Hello friends and Happy Easter! He has risen! Since it is Easter, I just had to write a post about the risen King. So, let's go over a snippet from Luke, starting in chapter 24 - verse 1.

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: "The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'" Then they remembered his words. (Verse 1 -8)

Hallelujah! He is risen! Our Lord and Savior lives so we can too! So we can have the fullness of life. We know we share in His glory even when we are suffering and to die is to gain! We can run to life from death. We are free! He has torn the veil!

He has obliterated darkness and has replaced it with love and light. He has made a way when there was no way. He made a sacrifice when we didn't deserve it. He showed the ultimate act of love. The battle is won. This story is guaranteed a happy ending. So, let that raise the corners of your lips. Let the light of life rest upon your face today. Grasp the joy that comes with Resurrection Day!
