Life, Limited Edition

Hello friends! Welcome back to 30 Days of Gratitude. First let me start off today's blog with some updates. My hubby left today, but will only be gone for a few weeks this time. Even though it's a bummer, we got off lucky and I know God played a part in that. Also, I got the difference in time zones mixed up (again) and realized that I will be late in wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving. For those of you who don't know, Japan time is 14 hours ahead of EST. Regardless, Happy {belated} Thanksgiving. I hope it was good and you had plenty of people around who love you and had plenty to be thankful for.

Today I am thankful for life. That I get time, although limited, on this earth. It's like this is my limited edition life and my everlasting edition of life will follow suit. This life is to be treasured while it lasts. I am thankful that God breathed into my lungs. That, because I live and breathe, I have met many wonderful people, experienced many wonderful things, and have seen God's wonderful works.

Life is hard, but that's life. At least life here on the earth. I'm just glad the Lord's yoke is easy and that His burden is light. Being on this earth and seeing God work is... Well, I cannot find words. I wonder just how different that prospective will be when I'm in heaven. I'm sure seeing God in action will baffle me even more. Just to even see God.. I think I'm rambling now. But I can't help but smile about life today. And I invite you to do the same. Find something to be thankful for in this life. Find joy in it and don't let it go.
