Live in the Freedom of God's Love

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

1 John 4:16

Hello friends! I hope you guys are having a wonderful Friday morning. As it says above, God is love and no one can say otherwise. His burden is easy and His yoke is light out of love for us.

Life is nothing without love. So, love each other so that you might have the full benefit of this life. Love answers the age old question, "What is the meaning of life?" Well, it's love. Love for God and love for each other. But love is not love unless it is given freely. Don't reserve your love or give false love, but give the genuine full extent of your love. Giving love freely is the true notion for this life. The definition of notion being: a conception of or belief about something. God gave this word in this context and I think He means that if we truly believe in Him we should show it in love.

Know that God loves you and live in the freedom of that so that you can love with everything you have without caution in your heart. When you have doubt of God's love for yourself it makes it harder to love others around you. Instead, live this life with love in your feet, hands, facial features, and your heart.

Know that the one true God is for you and loves you dearly. For He would not have put you in your mother's womb if he didn't. So, if you have thought, as I have thought in the past, "Surely God's love will pass over me because I am insignificant." don't. If you breathe, you have God's breath in your lungs. He wouldn't waste His breath on something insignificant. You are important. You are worth it. You have meaning. No one on this earth can say otherwise because God has all the power. What God thinks of you is the only thing that matters. You are wonderful. You are beautiful/handsome. I will say to you what God says to me when I am shaming myself, "Are you not made by my own hand?"

Are you not made in His image? Did He not sculpt you, spend time on you, sweat over your creation? Friends, this post might be more for me than for you. This is all the Lord gave me to write about today and I needed to hear it all. I hope those of you who needed to hear it, heard God say to you, "You are made by my own hand." And I hope this made you smile today.
