Playing Photographer
Well my friends, my hubby is now back in Japan! He is in Tokyo being quarantined for two weeks, but after that he's going to be heading home. Yay! Only 2 weeks left! I'm am super excited for him to be back.
Tomorrow I'm going to be working on giving my website a little bit of a makeover for the fall. I'll be switching out some of the images for a more autumnal feel. So, I've been playing photographer. I'm not sure if I'll make this a habit of changing things up per season, but I'm looking forward to it this time. As some of you may know all the pictures on my website was taken by me, including the thumbnail for each blog. The only exception is the ocean background on the home page, but that is a free WIX image. I know that my photos don't compare to the professionals, but I try my best.
Currently, all of my autumn decorations are in storage in the states, so I've had to get creative with taking the fall pictures for the blog. Also, I'm in Japan so there are no pretty fall backdrops. No orange leaves. So it's been difficult but I like a challenge! I am so excited to show you all what I've been working on behind the scenes. In fact, I just might do that tomorrow. It's a day sooner than I originally planed, but now that I think of it, I want to use tomorrow's blog to explain it more in detail. So stay tuned!
Speaking of taking photos, earlier I went to the park to read my bible and to take notes. Also to get some fresh air. I felt like I really needed it. And I saw many butterflies. Okinawa has more butterflies than I've ever seen. But, I failed to photograph many of them but I did end up with some photos I love. I'm sure they will end up in blog thumbnails in the future. But I can't help but show you this one snapshot I got today. It will be at the bottom of the page and in the thumbnail.
So guys, I hope you have a lovely day and find some joy in it. Don't be afraid to tell me what made you smile. I'd love to hear about it. Taking photos of butterflies added a smile to my face for sure.
