We weren't created to be joyless

Hello friends! Lately I've been thinking about God and how He can bring good out of anything. Afterall, He made a way when there was no way, aka Jesus dying and rising from the dead for our sins. So, I bet He can take any situation or any problem and make a way. The Bible does say He could do more then we can ever imagine.

I mean just look at suffering in the Bible. The word that seems like no good thing can come out of it and the worse thing that we, as humans, can go through on this earth. The word that seems almost hopeless and void of joy. But God makes a way:

We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. Romans 5:3 & 4

Our once hopeless and joyless word now has just that! Seems impossible, right? Well, He can do the impossible. And look at chapter 8 of Romans:

Now if we are children, then we are heirs - heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may share in his glory. Romans 8:17

And that's not all! Look at 1 Peter 3:12-13 or Acts 14:22 or James 1:2-4; and I'm sure there is more that I have missed.

If God can bring good out of the worst thing we can go through on this earth, suffering, then what can't He bring good out of? So, my friends, I invite you to smile about that today. Even if you are suffering because your situation is not hopeless and you weren't created to be joyless.
