He Gives us Peace
For God is not a God of disorder but of peace – as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.
1 Corinthians 14:33
Hello friends! Welcome back to Blogtober! Today is day twenty-seven. Our comfort today is that God gives us peace. He is the epitome of peace. After all, Jesus is called the prince of peace.
For us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love. 2 John 1:3
His peace will be with us.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27
Thus, He is with us.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice: Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, but of one mind live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
Encourage one another as He has encouraged you. Live in peace.
Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14
To live in God’s peace, turn from the evil of this world. Because the two cannot go hand in hand.
Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:14
Deceit is in the hearts of those who plot evil, but those who promote peace have joy. Proverbs 12:20
Those who have peace, have joy.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
Let yourself be filled with all the good that the Holy Spirit produces.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness; faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
When you seek peace and the Holy Spirit, your future becomes bright.
Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. Psalm 37:37
Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. James 3:18
You can look forward to a harvest of righteousness, which only comes from being a faithful servant of God.
I will listen to what God, the LORD, says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly. Psalm 85:8
Servants trust in their Master or in our case we call Him, Abba! Father.
You will keep perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3
We are more than servants. We are His children and His people.
The LORD who gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:11
LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us. Isaiah 26:12
For He has compassion on us.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.” Says the LORD, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10
He is the God of peace! He has overcome the world and will guard your heart.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
Friends, mighty servants, children of God, people of the Lord; find some joy, comfort, and peace in your master, abba, Father, God, Lord. He will fill you up with the fruits of His Holy Spirit which is only goodness.
