Introducing: Blogtober!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Hello friends! So I've been talking about my blog plans for the month of October and I've been hinting at things here and there, but now it's time to introduce BLOGTOBER! That's right I am going to be taking part blogtober this year! I'm super excited. Some of you may not be familiar with it and I didn't know about it until I started blogging. Blogtober is a challenge for bloggers to create content every single day of the month of October. The goal is to push yourself creatively. Many blogger take part in it each year.

I am already a daily blogger so how is this going to be different to my current blogs? Well I'm doing a theme for the whole month. Want to know what it is? My theme is comfort. I figured since October is a time of comfortable weather, cozy sweaters, and warm drinks, that comfort was a good theme. I will specifically be talking about the comfort we get from God. So get something warm to drink, put on a cozy sweater, and curl up in with THE Good Book. Embrace the comfort that our heavenly Father provides, because He is the God of all comfort.

Each day I will discuss a different way God comforts us. These blogs will be shorter than my current ones, with an occasional normal length blog. So you guys have to keep me accountable, because I'm not allowed to miss a day of blogging. I do plan on having some typed up in advance and I know life happens sometimes, but I will do my very best to stay on schedule. I hope you guys love the idea of blogtober as much as I do and I hope you love my theme. So it officially starts tomorrow! I will see you there my friend. Bring a blanket or something comfy with you tomorrow and we will dive in head first. Also, find joy in the comfort. I can't help but smile in anticipation.
